Openhouse: Park Here Eats: Foodies at the Pop-Up Park include Intoxicating Confections, Lizzmonade, YaYa Tea Garden, Mimi + Coco NY

Monday we launched the pop-up park, and yesterday we put on our first RS Fest concert series with Rolling Stone. Dawes, Hacienda and Music Unites Choir played live from Park Here, and there’s plenty more music to come. But what about the food? Nolita is one of the few neighborhoods in the city without a real market, and there’s nothing better than breaking out some treats at an outdoor park.

For Park Here, the indoor pop-up park (free, WiFi, hammocks, open daily), Openhouse Gallery and Carson Yiu of The Shaved Ice Shop brought together a dozen local foodies. Savory, sweet, drinks, dishes – this park has it all. From lemonade and fresh organic teas to dumplings, cannoli and mason jars of jam, Park Here offers guests dozens of homemade options at pop-up prices. Over the next month, we’ll go behind the scenes with each foodie, but to whet your appetite here’s the rundown.
