…Hester Street, which has expanded over the last two years into an events and catering operation that runs an evening food bazaar at the Eventi Hotel Plaza in Chelsea, handpicked a rotating group of vendors to participate in the Monday night market, including Khao Man Gai’s Thai street food, Lizzmonade’s handcrafted, fruit-infused lemonades, Duck Eatery’s Asian-inspired pastrami sandwich and slaw, Oaxaca Taqueria’s tacos, Luke Lobster’s New England seafood rolls and Handsome Dan’s cotton candy and old-fashioned sweets…

…While Horowitz and his pastrami sandwich gained an immediate following at Bryant Park, as has the popular Lizzmonade stand, some vendors, like Handsome Dan’s, which sells cotton candy and other old-fashioned sweets, are still having a difficult time several weeks into the season.  As Pak noted, “this is the first time Bryant Park has brought in food, and there’s a learning curve for moviegoers…”
